Diving into the Data: Barchart's June 2023 Crop Production Forecasts
We just released our latest Crop Production and Yield Forecast report for US Corn and Soybeans!
The latest report reveals a slight decrease in US corn production. End-of-season corn production is now projected to reach 14,975 million bushels, with a yield of 177.76 bushels per acre. Comparatively, the previous estimate was 14,988 million bushels with a yield of 177.92 bushels per acre. It may seem like a minor adjustment, but in the world of crop production, even the smallest changes can have a big impact.
But that's not all! The latest report also provided insights into the soybean scene. The report indicates that end-of-season US soybean production is expected to be 4,376 million bushels, accompanied by a yield of 50.59 bushels per acre. In the previous estimate, the figures stood at 4,380 million bushels and 50.64 bushels per acre, respectively.
