Tracking Cross / Data View

Charts have an automatic tracking cross (or crosshair) built into them. The tracking cross allows you to view data for any bar that appears on the chart in the Data View box. It also highlights the price on which its horizontal bar sits, as well as the date on which its vertical bar sits, for reference.

Activate the Tracking Cross

To activate the tracking cross, simply move your cursor anywhere on the chart. The Data View box displays, showing the date/time stamp and all relevant data for the bar on which the cross is over.

The Data View box will also show the values of any indicators on the pane.

The Tracking Cross's color may be changed through the Chart Properties (in the Colors tab). The Data View's font and colors may also be changed through the Chart Properties (in the Colors tab).
