(NYSE:MKL) announced today that Simon Wilson, currently President of Markel International, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company's three primary underwriting businesses—Markel Specialty, Markel International, and Markel Global Reinsurance—which will collectively be referred to as Markel Insurance.
