SEC Filings are formal documents required by the government that describe the financial health and operating activities for any company that has publicly traded stock. The reports can be viewed or downloaded using your web browser (HTML), a Microsoft Word document, an Adobe PDF, or as an Excel spreadsheet.
Types of filings include:
- Registration Statement - details of the business and type of investments offered
- 10-K Report - a comprehensive annual report submitted within 90 days of the end of their fiscal year
- 10-Q Report - a shortened version of the 10-K, submitted for the first 3 quarters of a company's fiscal year
